Pirates of the Golden Age timeline is a magazine spread designed for the Smithsonian magazine. The spread is meant to be interactive, and contains a trifold design. Because of my fascination with pirates, I created a custom timeline and dataset illustrating the lifespan of well-known pirates (such as Blackbeard), in addition to fun facts about each one of them. The spread is also intended to educate readers about pirates and the time period as a whole.
