The Odyssey book cover is a book cover that I created for the ancient poetic classic The Odyssey by Homer. The stylized book cover is meant to resemble ancient Greek “black-figure pottery,” which was found all over pots and vases in Greece starting around the 7th century BCE. Because of my love for both history and design, I wanted to blend ancient Greek artistic styles to a timeless classic from the period for this class project.
